About the Director: Randy J. Huling
My name is Randy Huling, aka Random Ran, I’m an illustrator/artist/music maker father of three, married. I was raised in Petaluma and now I’m raising my kids here. I went to school and received a B.S. in Media Arts and Animation from Art Institute of CA San Francisco. I do Illustrations, paint murals and I make music on my computer using a music program called Logic and I’ve been a DJ since I was 14 years old. I’ve been drawing most of my life, and making music since my teens, both of these hobbies make me really happy. On September 1, 2016 I was diagnosed with MS. To help me cope, I draw or paint. When I can’t draw I try to make music. I get around town by wheelchair and electric scooter. In and around the house I use a walker.
I had a career in graphic design and I used to teach intro to graphic design at The Academy of Art in San Francisco. Now I’m blessed to able to spend more quality time with my family.
