The film won the best director animation award and best foreign film award at the Los Angeles Independent Film Festival Awards (LAIFF). It also won the best animation award at the Direct Short Online Film Festival, along with two awards of merit at the Accolade Global Film Competition and Best Shorts competition. The film is currently in partnership with OPERATION ENFANT SOLEIL in Quebec to raise money for children suffering from diseases.
About the Director: Heloise Magny
Heloise Magny was born in Montreal, Quebec. She is a graduate from the Academy of Art University of San Francisco in visual effects. At the Academy of Art Heloise also studied screenwriting. She then worked on many projects, such as a first short film that she recently directed, ''Helena's Dream''. With her love of telling stories and her passion for visual effects, Heloise hopes to create 3D animated films that will inspire and help people. She worked in collaboration with Red Giant Studios on the short film ''Them Greeks!...'' directed by Spyros Tsiounis as a 3D artist. Heloise is also teaching at Lasalle College in the 3D modeling for video game program and is currently involved in multiple independent films as an art director and CG supervisor.
