First Edition of Golden Earth Film Award's held in June 2020, 49 films get nominated in seventeen different categories. one film out of all in each category was awarded as Best film of the category.

There are about 150-160 visible and invisible paintings from about 3500-4500 years ago. This document project uses Karhunen-Loève transformation (Jon Harman, dStretch program). In that way you can see something that you cannot see by nacked eye.


  • The Wetland Directed by Dušan Davidov is 52 minutes short film filmed in Slovakia, the story of the film about "The Wetland" is a documentary movie about the bird ringers. It´s also a movie about volunteering. There is no main character in the movie because they all are main characters - bird ringers and their helpers. It doesn´t matter who speaks because they speak as one. Their names are not important. Important is just their love for nature. In order to devote themselves to their "hobby" they are willing to sacrifice their holidays, spend their own money to buy bird rings, food and transportation to the stationary point. They are doing this because they are convinced that it has a deeper meaning and that they are helping the nature.


  • BODY PLACE IMAGE Directed by Gigisha Abashidze is 32 minutes 10 seconds short film filmed in Georgia, the story of the film about BODY PLACE IMAGE tells the story of eleven Georgian performing artists creating a site-specific work in KHIDI, a techno-dance club built into the anchorage of the Vakhushti Bagrationi Bridge in Tbilisi. Well-known as a place for Dionysian social gatherings, KHIDI also serves as a center of progressive political action for young Georgians fighting for a democratic future.   • Dukkha Directed by Elisavet Pirounia is 11 minutes 36 seconds short film filmed in China, the story of the film about The endless peaks and green mountains are dotted with rapeseed fields. Hope is that the animals, plants and people, people and cattle and sheep still survive tenaciously in this barren soil. They live together in this field for generations.   • SHIRONAM Directed by INDRANIL GHOSH is 1 hour 43 minutes 54 seconds short film filmed in India, the story of the film about Immediately after joining a news channel as cameraman Abhin was assigned to cover Ronchordji, the most dreaded terrorist, accompanied by veteran reporter Sujit secretly. A bike-rider picked them up into the jungle from a specific spot. However the slated meeting was declared cancelled by two armed men on the way. They decided to stay back. Next day Abhin left the hotel to capture the landscape as it had a distinguished clarity, but didn’t return ; neither could he be contacted. Paranoid Sujit intimated his immediate senior. Concerned authorities conducted an emergency meeting and concluded the incident as abduction by the terrorist due to a previous threat on media. Actually authority was in a hurry to capture the moment for a sensational breaking news than to find out the truth. Next day their arc rival channel scooped out the news of his inglorious death in a road side red light area. Emotionally broken, mentally perplexed, socially ostracized Anandi, Abhin's wife, stood alone in this crossfire of truth, half truth and lie. Anandi seemed to be a classical media war victim, who finally started to fight her own battle.

The Demon proceeds to beat him and knock him around in the darkness. Jose’ fights back unto exhaustion. Defeated, he falls remorseful and apologetic. His MOHTER’S PRAYERS can be heard, and light begins to illuminate the room. The light gathers into the shape of a being - a LIGHT BEING. The Light Being leads Jose’ out of the darkness and into a bountiful garden where the light is revealed to be an aura around the person of the LORD JESUS. The Lord gives Jose’ a new name and sends him back to his body to do “…the work he was sent to do.” To everyone’s amazement, Jose’ awakens after being dead for nine minutes. He becomes a great Artist and brings art to children in his community.
